Volumetric Shot Valves
The volumetric shot valve sets new standards for the precise and repeatable application of greases and oils. With a service life of up to 50 million doses, the valve ensures a smooth production. No leakage, with consistent accuracy.
Thanks to the volumetric metering principle, the shot valve operates virtually independently of fluctuations in temperature, pressure or viscosity. Because of this resistance to such fluctuations, additional measures such as a second material pressure regulator or temperature control can often be eliminated. This reduces the number of system components used, thereby minimizing maintenance costs and the potential for errors.
Due to its design, the volumetric shot valve operates in a low-pressure range (inlet pressure < 13 bar) compared to typical pressure-time shot valves (inlet pressure > 20 bar). This reduces stress and wear on the sealing and closing elements, resulting in a longer service life. Other system components, such as pressure regulators and feed pumps, are also relieved of stress. At the same time, this reduces the separation of base oil and thickener of the lubricant, which often leads to errors during micro-dosing applications.
- Contactless material application with metering accuracy < ± 2 percent
- Shot application of smallest quantities (> 0.001 ml) at highest speeds (30 shots per second)
- Up to 50 million identical doses leak-free
- Broad portfolio of nozzle sizes and types for maximum flexibility
