Metering Control Unit
Thanks to its modular program structure, the newly developed 1K metering control unit from DOPAG offers a very wide range of configuration options. The standard version of the metering control, which is based on the Siemens S7 CPU, already covers a wide range of different dosing tasks.
Up to 3 lines can be monitored and controlled with different application valves. Whether valves with classic pressure-time dosing, volumetric metering valves or electrically driven dosing units such as the progressive cavity pump. A broad portfolio of dosing components can be controlled via the new dosing computer. Various options are also available for material feed, such as feed via a container pump, pressure vessel or cartridge.
In order to ideally combine and coordinate the components used, the material feed, the lines and dispensing components can be individually equipped with a variety of monitoring and expansion modules. Pressure and level sensors, volume counters, stroke detections, light barriers and various heating modules are available to configure the system perfectly to your requirements.
It is operated via a user-friendly touch panel with additional navigation buttons. The intuitive user interface is designed so that the visualization of the dosing system can be used to navigate quickly and easily between the individual components.
Common communication standards are available to connect the dosing control to a higher-level master. The control unit is already equipped for connection via PROFINET. Of course, Profibus, Ethernet/IP or the more modern data transmission via OPC UA are also available as options. Modules for remote maintenance are also available.
The control is available as a compact desktop version with a carrying handle. Alternatively, a housing for classic wall mounting can be selected.
